Help Chanterelle raise money

For participating in 2024 Goddess Run presented by Cathy Noel, DFH Real Estate Ltd

My Story…

My mission is to be a voice for those who have been silenced by intimate partner violence. Whether you’re experiencing domestic violence or have survived it as youth and adult, you are not alone.

My name is Chanterelle Arbic, and I have always turned to running as a form of healing following personal experiences with domestic violence. Running became more than just a form of therapy; it was the way I would escape for an hour, be in nature, feel safe, and let my body move. This led to using running as a stimulus for my mental health. I view running as a form of exercise that brings people together and builds community. If we can run together, we can also support each other. Running helped me build a community that felt like family, who continue to support and uplift me today.

Running for the Victoria Women’s Transition House gives me purpose and fuels me to keep going. Supporting this organization has directly impacted my life and has become the purpose I never thought I needed but now dearly love. Please help me in fundraising to continue supporting children and adults around the Greater Victoria area who are seeking support, housing, and a community of people they never thought was possible for them. Feel free to donate any amount you can, or join me on March 3rd in walking or running 5km or 10km around Elk and Beaver Lake.
